Hi Everyone! I really hope you doing well. I just came home from doing my second last paper today and great news is, I passed and I am beyond happy. These last few days have been crazy. Having less sleep working so hard and for some reason during this past weekend, it seemed impossible to wake up. I wanted to curl up in bed the entire time but I kept on pushing myself. I know I only have one chance to proof to myself that my three years of hard work should not go to waste. I came to realize that nothing comes easy and if you really want something, you gotta work hard for it and that’s exactly what I am doing. I still have one more paper to go next Tuesday, which will also be my graduating day. I’m taking it easy this afternoon before I get back to books to prepare myself for the last paper.
For the longest time, I’ve been contemplating if I should get started with taking my own blog pictures. Truth is, I didn’t feel motivated and I lacked enough courage. Earlier this year, I found a photographer whom I really liked working with but unfortunately, he traveled to London leaving me very confused and searching for a new photographer. I personally don’t think it’s easy to find a photographer here in Dk. And with my student economy, I can guarantee you that it’s even more difficult since photography is very expensive.
About a week ago, I took my tripod that Axel bought me some time last year from a thrift market and decided that it was time I give this “taking my own blog pictures thing” a try. The weather wasn’t pleasant and my outfit was screaming summer. I knew it would be inappropriate to call any of my friends to come snap my blog pictures at 7pm. ( BTW, 6-7 pm is dinner time in Denmark). So there I was, shooting my own pictures in this summer statement outfit. I ran back and forth to see if I captured great shots and if I needed to do any adjustments on the camera settings. I got a few stares from people walking by and even conversed with some of them. I truly enjoyed snapping these pictures. I love the fact that I had so much fun. I hope you’ll enjoy them!
