Struggling with body changes before and after birth

Struggling with body changes. Being a mom comes with many struggles and challenges. While some of them can easily be overcomed, I find that there are those challenges that tend to get out of control. One thing I learned is that struggling with body changes while pregnant is real, and it continues even after birth. At the moment, my biggest challenge is loose belly skin, extra weight, and extremely dark stretch marks.

Going through all these changes can sometimes make me emotional and stressed out or even sad. It’s during such moments when I try to take good care of myself either by taking time to do a face mask at home, go for a short walk/run by myself or even dress up. Perhaps, these are small things that I do, but they do have a positive impact on me.

On this day, when Axel, Leo, my mom and I decided to go for an afternoon walk, I wanted to feel good. It was sunny, and I knew I can’t swim yet since my stitches after birth has not fully healed. So, wearing this gifted swimsuit from Hunkemöller and soaking in the sun made me feel amazing. I like that it has some lacy details on the sides, it is stretchy and has adjustable straps at the back, which makes it fit me perfectly well.

Thank you Hunkemöller for gifting this swimsuit. You can find more selection of their swimming clothes on their website.

Strong words Michelle! I think it’s a fase (I hope) every women have when giving birth. So important to accept the body for now and be very patience. I think you are doing so well – you are always positive when hard times comes!

And DANG I like the pictures and you look HOT in the swimsuit girl!

I am patient, Benya! I think these emotions are just part of the journey. The best thing is to accept them and when feeling down, just try and do something that makes me happy.

      Thank you so much 🥰
