Photo Diary From Our Trip To Kenya

It is a week since we travel back from our trip to Kenya. Although we were away for ten days, I personally feel it was brutal to get myself to a normal schedule. I had a terrible jet lag and was exhausted most of the time. And on top of that, I missed home so much. The extreme cold weather that welcomed us here in Denmark confused me a bit.

I am glad I’m over that awful feeling now, and back to my regular activities. We already at the beginning of our 6th semester, and that means, I’ll be graduating soon. It’s unbelievable that time has flown so fast. It feels like, it was just the other day when I started at the university and shared my first-year experience with you. My group member, Marianne and I have slowly begun making preparations on how to work with our Bachelor Thesis topic for the next couple months. Wish us luck!

On today’s post, I’m sharing with you the pictures that I shot while in Kenya. Axel and I spent most of our time with my family out in the countryside and had two days in Nairobi. I am looking forward to summer vacations as I plan to stay longer and see my friends. Hope you enjoy these pictures from our trip to Kenya.

Thank you so much for reading and talk to you soon!

I had a great time home. It was so short but I’m grateful I had the opportunity to spend time with my family. Thank you, Hosannah! 😍

We fetch water often at home. It’s always fun to go up those hills. I come from Nunguni in makueni district. Thanks!

Nice. You carried water on your back? Wow strong brave woman, I can’t even do that with my hands 😂😂😂. And your sister and you look sooo much alike. I don’t know if she is your sister but the resemblance is sooo much.

Congratulations on graduating soon… Its always the best feeling

Yes, I do carry water on my back. We have done this since I was so little. It’s actually not hard as you think. 😂😂. Also, I can’t wait to graduate. I am nervous but also so excited.

Go’ mandag
