“Princess Blue” which looks more like the royal blue, is one of the colors that will be popular this spring. I don’t mind rocking it, but I am much more drawn to airy pastel colors. They remind me of blossoming flowers when the weather starts to get warmer. This pastel blue featured on this post did not make its appearance in the Spring/Summer Pantone colors 2019. But, I’m happy to re-wear it again. For me, it is a great color that smoothly transitions from my winter to Spring/Summer wardrobe with ease. When I first saw this dress, I was not only attracted to the color but the pleats that are well defined. They create different shapes, and the combination of the light material allows me to move freely with no restriction.
Seeing how fashion is transforming, I am convinced that designers are breaking the traditional rules. They are delivering beauty through innovative, fresh style and designs that are noticeable on runways during fashion months. I still find this dress to be a versatile piece of garment with a multitude of ways of styling it. And, as summer approaches, I can’t wait to wear it more often.
To keep the pastel blue theme, I paired the dress with the Copen Blue sneakers which I recently got as a gift from Woden Sneakers. I’m in a phase where I am consistently wearing them. They are the comfiest sneakers that I own at the moment. And, as a pregnant mama, with swollen feet, I cannot stress enough how pleasant it is to wear a pair of comfortable shoe.
The wait is over, and it is time to reveal the gender of our baby. We are having a BOY!!!!! Growing up, I have always wanted to have a boy as we are so many women in my family. Then, I met Axel, and his siblings are only brothers. I got confused and did not know whether I should wish for a girl or a boy anymore. I did not have any expectation. But, you can bet I was happy when the nurse mentioned to us during the 20-week scanning that we were expecting a boy. Only three weeks left before he is here with us in our arms.
As always, Thank you so much for reading.
