Minimal

During my younger days, my closet consisted of clothes that did not fit my style nor my personality. Most of the pieces that I snagged from thrifting or sales rack were just clothes that I bought because they were cute. I was struggling trying to find my own style and even my own self, which led to so many insecurities.

I am all grown now, know what works for me and I have found my own style. Gone are the days, I would seek people’s approval. I enjoy being who I am and I have more confidence in myself.  And all my shopping decision have come down to investing in quality pieces that last longer and not just the pleasure of just buying cute clothes. This truly makes me happy among other things. If you were to go back in your younger days, what is the one thing that you would change? For me, I would sing a beautiful song to myself every single day, to remind myself that, I was born beautiful, and I am unique, and that is what makes me so special.

My style has changed so much over the years. I have stepped out of my comfort zone, to play and experiment with different types of styling, shapes and also silhouettes. I am also leaning towards minimal outfits. When I first started out, I found this kind of outfits very boring because I was used to adding a punch of colours into my looks. Colours make me really happy but I am learning that less is more. This minimal outfit is amazingly chic, elegant and looks so polished at the same time.

Hope you like these pictures that I shot during a  nice sunny evening,

Thank you so much for reading.

The simplicity of this outfit is what makes it stand out. It took me a while to figure out my own style too. Looking at old pics even makes me cringe lol. But thank goodness for growth hey. beautiful shots babe.x

Those old pictures are a prove that my style was so horrible during my younger days. I didn’t know who exactly I was or what I wanted my style to be like. Thank you luv 🙂

Great post and I did enjoy the pictures.
Still at this age, I can’t really say what my style is. I believe I just love to dress and jump around depending on which style I like best that day. lol.

    Lovely post.

I can relate to just dress depending on what style you like on that day. It isn’t a bad thing. Thanks for visiting 🙂
