Ginatricot Pink Sweater and Faux Leather

Happy Monday Everyone! Sharing a quick post today which consist of Faux leather and knits. These two pieces are both great combinations for the fall season. I am excited to start breaking out all the sweaters I have in my closet for the cold days.  For as long as I can remember, Ginatricot always have a good selection of knits. I loved this pink sweater because of its pastel color and its cute cut detail on its back. It is perfect for spring and summer season as it is not that super warm, but with a few layers, it makes a great outfit for winter.

Faux leather pieces can quickly transform and elevate a look from a simple to super chic and edgy outfit. They are not only pieces that feel amazing to the skin but also looks incredibly good depending on how you style them.  When I shot these set of pictures, it was a bit chilly, but I went ahead anyway and allowed myself to walk around in minimum clothes. But for the colder winter days, I plan to re-create this look and add a few more pieces to keep me warm. I think of adding a black turtleneck beneath the sweater and thermal leggings. I will still wear the same boots, throw on an oversized jacket and chunky scarf. Perfect winter version!

I’m feeling super relaxed after a lovely weekend, and I can’t be more excited to face this new week. Axel and I attended a “Kenyan get together” event which was in the city. We all made some Kenyan food that we shared as a buffet. Seeing everyone, meeting new Kenyans and getting the chance to speak Swahili was everything I had missed. Although I know a few of them who live close to the city, we don’t get to see each other quite often due to busy schedules. So, events like this bring us closer, share giggles, the food and music. I am so grateful for the people who organized this event. Can’t wait to see everyone again!

I hope you had a lovely weekend. Have a great week!

And, Thank you so much for reading this post.

Thank you, Biki! I agree that knits and faux leather will never go out of style. My braid are super easy to make and I love them because I don’t need to worry about my hair that much
