Last week, I was invited to a super cool Food Styling event with other few bloggers from around the city. I was not sure what kind of food styling it would be, until the actual day when we found out that we had to style a quick and easy breakfast. And, that the one person who does the best styling wins. The main product on focus was a Norwegian Siddal bakery crispbread which comes in different varieties including glutenfree, is healthy and filling. I have not tried crispbread for breakfast yet, but I love it as a snack with either cheese or peanut butter on top.
I am not a food stylist. Here, at home, I try to make the quickest breakfast in the shortest time possible unless I am making oatmeal porridge which can take me a few extra minutes. With many options to choose from, on this day, I did feel challenged. Deciding cutlery, plates from IKEA and crispbread from Sigdal Bakery that would translate into my version of easy and quick breakfast took me a longer time than I expected. 😄 Though I did not win the Food Styling challenge, I am glad I was able to be part of the event in one of the coziest café’s Penny Lane. And, Camilla, who was the winner, did a fantastic styling job.
Thank you, Go Communication for inviting me to this event. And, as always, Thank you, for reading. Talk to you soon!
