Hello, summer and Hello, everyone! One thing I love about this summer season is the cheerful mood that’s around every corner in the city. There are people everywhere, cafés are popped up and so many outdoor activities at the moment. Despite the unpredictable weather this year, I still feel excited about this summer holidays. Axel and I have no plans for travelling, but instead, we will be camping in different places here in Denmark. I’m looking forward, as there are so many attractive cities in this country that I would like to see and get to know.

Aalborg is such a beautiful city that is full of charming spots. You already know from this post , that I love biking and taking walks. I feel like life is all good when I am on top of my bike biking around discovering the city’s neighbourhood.

On this day, I spent the rest of the afternoon and evening in a quiet spot that I found a few kilometres away from the city centre. It was a perfect place and all I what I needed. I might sound like a loner, but I do value and enjoy to have peaceful moments all by myself. It’s a great way for me to breathe and reflect. Normally, my days are full of a long to do list and many worries. So, these quiet moments allow me to rest my mind with no interruptions. I tend to feel recharged both mentally and emotionally.

For my outfit, I decided to wear shades of blue. I added more colour by using this bandana as a neck scarf and these Zara loafers that I got from the short trip to Gothenburg, Sweden.

Hope you like these pictures that I shot myself.

Thank you for reading, and talk to you super soon, again.

Happy Monday and great week, ahead!

Happy Monday everyone! The weather in Gothenburg, during the one day trip with Stena Danica, was incredible. Helena and I decided to check out from our Airbnb early to hit the streets. As a one day tourists, we wanted to explore the city and also create time for some shopping before sailing back to Denmark. Usually, I travel with Axel and always rely on him as a guide when looking for places to discover. This time was different. My friend had never been to Gothenburg before, and I had to be her guide. I opted to show her some of my favorite places that I like to re-visit, especially on a short trip like this. These areas are situated right in the city center, and it is only a walking distance, which made it stress-free to get around.

Talking about shopping, I can’t imagine a trip to Gothenburg without stopping at ZARA and Mango. They both had a huge summer sale, and we both went crazy with shopping. Fell in love with a few pieces that I got and can’t wait to show you soon. We rounded up the day with a much-needed coffee break after walking for several hours.

Packing as a one day tourists was super easy. I’m the kind of person who can’t travel light, and no matter how much I try. I always end up bringing unnecessary stuff that I end up not using.  For this trip, I knew I wanted an outfit that was comfortable and would make it easy for me to walk from one corner to the other. Denim will always be an essential in my closet as it can go with everything. My choice of shoes was these white slip-on that was the most comfortable pair to wear for such a long walking day.

Thank you for reading! Hope you will have a great week ahead.

Love..xx

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Last time I visited Gothenburg, Sweden was back in Easter with Axel for a  weekend. This time, I was super excited and glad to be back again for a one day trip with Stena Line and Stena Danica. If you read my blog religiously, then you know that Gothenburg has become a favorite city.  I can’t get enough of its beauty and charm in every corner.

I love Swedish people as I find them very friendly, the architecture of the buildings and some of the old neighborhoods. It’s super easy to get around with buses and trams, but, I do like to walk a lot. This way, I get to experience and have a connection with the city and its surroundings. I travelled with my friend, Helena and although we did not get to see everything, I was happy to show her some of the places that I like to re-visit. It was a great experience to have her with me.

The purpose of this trip was to discover the new outlet shop that was launched in one of the Stena Line ferries; Stena Danica. It offers a broad range of clothing, for men, women and small kids too. The best part of onboard shopping at Stena Danica is that you will find some of the famous brands. If you are afraid of using all your money on shopping at the outlet, worry not.  The prices are super good and affordable compared to the street prices, which are usually exceedingly high. In my experience, the people working there are super sweet. They are also helpful if you have any questions and have a great customer service. This makes the shopping experience even more fun.

My trips to Gothenburg will not feel long and boring anymore. Normally, I like to sit at one of the corners and end up taking a nap. Now, I can do some shopping even before I land in the city. If I need to grab something for my stomach, I can try their restaurant which has an excellent buffet. Their café is a nice place for a relaxing and cozy atmosphere. Aahhh so much to experience in Stena Danica!

Thank you so much, Stena Line and Stena Danica for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.

Talk to you super soon..xx

During my last visit in Gothenburg, Sweden, it was so sunny, windy and cold. When I was packing for the trip, I knew I wanted to bring this pleated skirt with me. Though, I was not sure how to style it, as I find it tricky to pull off with pleats. I decided to pair it with a red top and sneakers and turned out to be a perfect and comfortable outfit to run around in town. Two days later, because the skirt has a lot of movement and the silver shine on it, I paired it with a white long-sleeved blouse that has the cutest romantic ruffles on the neck and the around the sleeves. These Zara velvet boots added some color to the outfit.

If you are planning to invest in a pleated skirt, go ahead and do it. There are so many ways to pair this flirty and sophisticated piece. For instance, you can pair it with a tee and a pair sneaker for a more casual look. If you want a more edgy look and vibe, throw on a black leather jacket and boots. A silk cami top, heeled sandals, a small purse all paired together with the skirt are suitable for a night-out look. What do you think?

Are you interested in wearing the pleated skirt? I’m curious to know how you style it.

PS: I am traveling to Gothenburg this Thursday for a day, and I’m super excited.

As always, Thank you so much for reading.

Talk soon..xx
