As some of you who follow me on Instagram, you already know that we went for a week-long road trippin in Jutland, Denmark. I was super excited for this trip mostly because I wanted to see more of this country. My first-time road tripping was back in 2014 when Axel used to work in a small town in Sweden. We would drive for hours on the highway, and the funny thing is, I would fall asleep now and then. Who else falls asleep when travelling?😀

It was after this trip that I fell in love with packing my bags, jump in the car and let the road take me somewhere far away. There is so much to see, and the one thing I like most is discovering something new. Usually, when we are on the road, we like to play some country music. This time though, we did not play as much music as we normally do neither did I fall asleep. I wanted to allow myself to be more aware of all the surroundings. To be able to create deep memories of all the places we saw and visited.

We started our trip on the west coast and drove all the way to the German border. The landscape in this part of Denmark consists of dunes, unlike the North which is flat. Along the way, we visited different cities that are rich in history. Axel loved Rudbøl, a small village situated in the Southern part Jutland close one of the Danish and Germany borders. Nature here was insanely beautiful. One of the locals told us that Rudbøl is very famous of the Black Sun. Meaning that the sun gets covered by many birds that are moving from one place to another during September. Would love to go back someday and experience the Black Sun myself.

My favourite stop was at Silkeborg. I have visited this city before on a short visit. Although we did not get to see the whole town, I believe that Silkeborg is full of great outdoor events. We had lunch and later hired a canoe. It was my first-time experience and in my opinion, a good exercise for the arms.😀 We rounded our trip at a Rose Park where we enjoyed a walk and the smell of roses.

I hope you enjoy these pictures and looking forward to talking to you super soon.

Thank you for reading this post❤️.

I was super excited when Axel mentioned to me that he was going for a motorcycle trip with his colleagues the other day. I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Treat myself to a solo dinner at the harbour. You might have read on this post, that I the like idea of spending time alone once in a while. I personally think it is important to regularly treat myself to these moments. Life can be chaotic at times,  and we need to take a little break, to nurture and take care of ourselves.

I quickly made pasta for dinner, packed everything on my bike and took off to the harbour. It was a super gorgeous evening with lots of sunshine, and I could not be more happier.

Outfit of the evening

My pick was a  super light blush dress with the most delicate lace. My chosen accessory for my outfit was this Cherry Blush IPhone cover, which I recently got as gift from Richmond and Finch. I am currently obsessed with all things blush tones. What’s not to love about this colour? I like that, blush colour  is super soft and goes with almost everything.

As I was going through Richmond and Finch, I had a hard time deciding between this Cherry blush and Pink rose cover. I liked both covers but my final decision was based on the fact that I love the cherry blossoms. To me this iPhone cover embodies nature in a very unique way. It has a fine-looking rose gold details that makes is super chic. The cover also has a smooth matte finish that makes it easy to hold.

By using “michelle20″, you will get a 20% discount code for all the covers at Richmond & Finch website. Let me know which cover you like most and are planning to get.

As always, Thank you for reading.

Hello, summer and Hello, everyone! One thing I love about this summer season is the cheerful mood that’s around every corner in the city. There are people everywhere, cafés are popped up and so many outdoor activities at the moment. Despite the unpredictable weather this year, I still feel excited about this summer holidays. Axel and I have no plans for travelling, but instead, we will be camping in different places here in Denmark. I’m looking forward, as there are so many attractive cities in this country that I would like to see and get to know.

Aalborg is such a beautiful city that is full of charming spots. You already know from this post , that I love biking and taking walks. I feel like life is all good when I am on top of my bike biking around discovering the city’s neighbourhood.

On this day, I spent the rest of the afternoon and evening in a quiet spot that I found a few kilometres away from the city centre. It was a perfect place and all I what I needed. I might sound like a loner, but I do value and enjoy to have peaceful moments all by myself. It’s a great way for me to breathe and reflect. Normally, my days are full of a long to do list and many worries. So, these quiet moments allow me to rest my mind with no interruptions. I tend to feel recharged both mentally and emotionally.

For my outfit, I decided to wear shades of blue. I added more colour by using this bandana as a neck scarf and these Zara loafers that I got from the short trip to Gothenburg, Sweden.

Hope you like these pictures that I shot myself.

Thank you for reading, and talk to you super soon, again.

Happy Monday and great week, ahead!

Happy Monday everyone! The weather in Gothenburg, during the one day trip with Stena Danica, was incredible. Helena and I decided to check out from our Airbnb early to hit the streets. As a one day tourists, we wanted to explore the city and also create time for some shopping before sailing back to Denmark. Usually, I travel with Axel and always rely on him as a guide when looking for places to discover. This time was different. My friend had never been to Gothenburg before, and I had to be her guide. I opted to show her some of my favorite places that I like to re-visit, especially on a short trip like this. These areas are situated right in the city center, and it is only a walking distance, which made it stress-free to get around.

Talking about shopping, I can’t imagine a trip to Gothenburg without stopping at ZARA and Mango. They both had a huge summer sale, and we both went crazy with shopping. Fell in love with a few pieces that I got and can’t wait to show you soon. We rounded up the day with a much-needed coffee break after walking for several hours.

Packing as a one day tourists was super easy. I’m the kind of person who can’t travel light, and no matter how much I try. I always end up bringing unnecessary stuff that I end up not using.  For this trip, I knew I wanted an outfit that was comfortable and would make it easy for me to walk from one corner to the other. Denim will always be an essential in my closet as it can go with everything. My choice of shoes was these white slip-on that was the most comfortable pair to wear for such a long walking day.

Thank you for reading! Hope you will have a great week ahead.
